Our Programs
At Youth Empowerment, we offer a diverse array of programs rooted in mentorship, using evidence-based curriculums facilitated by Credible Messengers with lived experience. Our initiatives include in-school and after-school youth mentoring, youth and adult reentry programs aimed at easing the transition back into the community, and Parent Classes designed to enhance family dynamics and communication. Each program is designed to support individuals at different life stages, providing the necessary tools for personal growth, successful community reintegration, and stronger familial relationships, all aimed at fostering lasting empowerment and transformation.
School Programs
Our School Programs at Youth Empowerment include a dynamic in-school mentoring initiative and a robust after-school program. During school hours, we provide both group and one-on-one mentorship, tailoring our approach to meet the unique needs of each student and fostering an environment of support and growth. Our after-school program extends this support, offering additional resources and activities that help students develop their skills, build confidence, and enhance their educational experiences. Both programs are designed to empower students by providing continuous mentorship and guidance throughout their school day and beyond.
Reentry Programs
Our Reentry Programs at Youth Empowerment are designed to support individuals at various life stages as they transition back into their communities following incarceration. Both our youth and adult reentry initiatives offer comprehensive support, focusing on providing the resources and guidance necessary for successful reintegration. These programs emphasize personal development, employment readiness, and community connection, ensuring that participants have the tools they need to navigate the challenges of reentry and succeed in reestablishing their lives with confidence and support.
Parent/ Guardian Programs
Our Parent Program at Youth Empowerment goes beyond traditional education by also serving as a support group for parents facing challenges in connecting with or understanding their children. This program is designed to empower parents with effective communication skills and strategies to strengthen family dynamics. Additionally, the supportive group setting allows parents to share experiences and solutions, providing mutual support for those dealing with hardships related to their youth. This program not only equips parents with practical tools but also fosters a community of understanding and shared learning, helping parents navigate the complexities of family relationships more effectively.
